Resources - the digital booklet
Few people outside our industry have much insight into what we do.
We created this pamphlet as a starting point to illustrate our industry at work for those that know little about it.
If, as a transport operator – you ever get asked to give a talk about the industry – now you have an aid that can be used in a variety of formats.
Click the ‘Importance of trucking’ button below and your will open up a .pdf file which you can use as either an on-screen resource, print as a booklet or email.
There are embedded QR codes on most pages that will take you to video clips of the industry at work all around the country.
Once printed – any smart phone should be able to access the videos by scanning the QR codes.
This is mainly written for our younger citizens who might not be aware yet of how many aspects there are to the road transport industry.
This has been trialled and developed with input from schools and institutes in-and-around Christchurch.
This is a resource that can be emailed (5.4mb), printed or displayed as a booklet to aid educators, teachers and those interested in our industry.
We welcome feedback so we can further hone this visual aid which will be undergoing a program of continuous evolution….
