Fulton Hogan Central F-Series Mack

Fulton Hogan Central/Alexandra Transport  F-series Mack tractor with an early container handler two-axle unit, Steelbro by the look of it, photographed in the early 1980’s.

‘Boddie’s Bulldog” was just one of a very Mack strong outfit which dominated Central Otago’s demanding transport needs for many generations.

It’s still around as ATL but the company’s great days of being a Mack powerhouse are long gone – but not so with the famous purple livery which is still seen on a diverse range of brands including the Sterling below which went to work in 2009.
