Legacy - 1965 Kenworth 'Steptoe' arrives
It’s hard to tell which Kenworth is the most famous in the country – ‘Concorde’ – the V12 Detroit powered Kenworth that Mike Lambert put to work in the ’70’s, or ‘Steptoe’ – which was put to work in 1965 and was one of the first Kenworths in the country to go to work.
This clip commemorates ‘Steptoe’s’ early days by taking a run with some other old rigs from the era into his original stamping grounds.
This clip is a shorter version of ‘Steptoe revisits the Mangataniwha’ which can be seen here.
